At SoyMurga, we’re committed to crafting candles that are clean, safe, and responsibly made. Each one is poured using 100% plant-based soy wax sourced from U.S. farms, blended with phthalate-free fragrance oils and a touch of essential oils for a natural, true-to-life scent.

We use cotton wicks with a paper core — no metal, no lead — to ensure a clean, even burn from top to bottom.

Our materials are thoughtfully chosen to meet high safety and environmental standards — because what you burn matters.

Introduction & Craftsmanship

Hi, I’m Marcelino (he/him) — founder, maker, designer, scent-blender, box-packer, all of it and more — and I’m so glad you’re here.

SoyMurga has been alive since 2019, born out of a love for creative freedom and a curiosity for fragrance that quickly turned into a full-blown obsession. What started as simply making candles turned into something deeper: blending scents that feel moody, emotional, even dangerously sexy — and watching people light up when they find the one that speaks to them. That part? That’s magic.

I hand-pour every candle in Northern Utah using 100% plant-based soy wax, lead-free cotton braided wicks, and phthalate-free fragrance oils (with a touch of essential oils, always). Everything is designed to be clean, small batch, and kind to your space — and the jars are meant to be reused, not tossed.

Philosophy & Community

Fragrance is personal. My scents are layered with meaning and mood, but they’re also made to meet you where you are — to pull memories forward, create new rituals, or transform a room into something warmer, softer, more you. I want you to feel cozy, empowered, and a little elevated — whether you’re finding your signature scent or just leaning into the season.

Right now, I’m loving A Mossy Affair from our core collection (it’s earthy, sexy, and grounding) and Dead Leaves & Rituals from the autumn line — think cemetery garden vibes: dusty florals, dark musk, resin smoke, blackberry.
